Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you use Tracking Languages, we collect the minimum data needed to provide the service:

• Account info — your email address and display name via Google sign-in.
• Watch activity — the language, duration (minutes), platform (Netflix/YouTube/Prime Video), and date of each watching session. We do not record what you watch (no titles, URLs, or video content).
• Preferences — your target languages, daily goal, and theme setting.
• Subscription status — whether your account is active, managed via Stripe.

2. What we do NOT collect

• We do not collect browsing history, video titles, or URLs.
• We do not collect any data from sites other than Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising.

3. How we use your data

• To display your watch time, streaks, and progress in the extension.
• To sync your data across devices via your account.
• To process payments through Stripe (we never see or store your card details).

4. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted on AWS, EU region). All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Row-level security ensures you can only access your own data.

5. Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can export your data as CSV from the extension at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at the address below and we will process your request within 30 days.

6. Third-party services

• Google OAuth — for authentication only.
• Stripe — for payment processing.
• Supabase — for database and authentication infrastructure.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance.
